Blueberry Mango Smoothie

I have always loved drinking coconut water. The best is obviously from freshly picked coconuts from trees. Recently while we were in Goa,India, in that scorching weather, coconut water was something I would look forward to drinking everyday and that is some routine we also follow when back home in Florida. When away from home, it gets hard to get fresh coconut water. I am not much into buying packaged coconut water but I do love good tasting-organic-no extra added sugar based coconut waters from time to time.

So recently when the good people at COCOZIA contacted me for doing a product review for their USDA approved organic coconut water, I jumped at the opportunity. I have tried lots of packaged coconut waters earlier but never really heard of this brand. So I was excited at giving this a go.

Coconut Water for Blueberry Mango Smoothie

I tried it plain, chilled and in smoothie. I liked it chilled the best. It has no added sugar or preservatives. I found it to be somewhat flat tasting to my taste but my aunt absolutely loved it. I added it in our smoothies for a quick energy boost. I love that it is organic and provides 21% potassium and 20% magnesium per serving. Definitely a plus point in my book!

Next time, I would go for this coconut water rather than grabbing soda or energy drink.

  5. I’m also pretty spoiled when it comes to coconut water (grew up in Brazil) but if you find you should definitely try Harmless Harvest. It is pricey and it has to be refrigerated but it is raw and pure coconut water and the closest thing to fresh coconut water that I have found…outside of a coconut that is.
