Spiced Apple Sangria

Let’s drink sangria guys. As you might have realised by know, I love making and drinking Sangria and so does my family and that’s why I keep experimenting with all sorts of seasonal fruits and flavors! Remember the time I added tons of summer fruits in here or the time, I used up all those gorgeous grapes in this.

Last year during holiday season, I created another sangria recipe but as it happens with me all the time, the recipe got lost somewhere in the pile of papers and till date I am not sure where it went! And so since it’s holiday season and only 8 days to thanksgiving, I decided to create the perfect holiday drink!?

Ingredients for Spiced Apple Sangria

This ->>> SPICED APPLE SANGRIA  which is made by using The Dreaming Tree Wine (These wines are my recent finds and I really like these. Being a red wine, the Crush Red Blend is not bitter at all and it is, atleast to me, great for making sangrias!), bourbon, lime juice, apples, oranges, ginger and cinnamon. If you want to make something that screams holidays ,then THIS is it!

Spiced Apple Sangria Perfect for Parties

This time I kept things simple by using few and simpler ingredients out of which,  you might already have some at home. I like to let sangria sit for few hours in refrigerator for the flavors to get more intense and for the fruits to absorb all the amazing alcohol flavors!

Spiced Apple Sangria Makes Red Wine Fun

I suggest if you are making sangria for the first time ever, then try using The Dreaming Tree Wine Red Wine as it is very subtle and not too strong or bitter tasting. And you can easily find this in any Walmart store!

Lately I end up going atleast 3-4 times to Walmart and it’s one place I can never get tired of shopping for all my cooking needs. Walmart is the perfect place for all my holiday shopping and I feel like people there already know me by now because well let’s me serious I am there every other day! And especially with the holiday season, I just love all the new holiday stuff they keep bringing in. If you get a chance, then do check out the new Barilla Pronto pasta which Barilla came out with! Last week I made this and it took half the time! And wine and pasta are the perfect soul mates so seriously you need to include these in your menu soon! And remember to end this with cookies!! Just so you know, you must check out your nearby walmart for when they are having fun demos of tasting or pairing events with Barilla, pepperidge farm and The dreaming tree wine. And if you go ( and which I suggest you must!), then remember to check out their wine selection too which I find to be at a reasonable price!

I normally prefer wine just as is unless it’s blended with the right flavor. Apple with spices, always works!
