Slow Cooker Garlic Mashed Potatoes:
  • 2.5 pounds russet potatoes, peeled and cut in chunks
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 cup water
  • 3-4 cloves of garlic, peeled
  • ½ cup milk (full fat)

Slow Cooker Garlic Mashed Potatoes:
  1. In your slow cooker (I used my 6 quart slow cooker), add chopped potatoes, salt, garlic and water. Cover and cook on high for 3 hours or until potatoes are soft.
  2. Add milk, heavy cream, sour cream and butter and cover and cook for another 30 minutes on high.
  3. Once done, using a potato masher mash until it reaches desired consistency. Taste and adjust salt and add black pepper.
  4. Garnish with chives and serve!
